Daniel Fawcett
Daniel practises in employment and industrial relations law, and commercial law. Prior to joining the Victorian Bar, Daniel was a Senior Associate in Ashurst’s Employment team. During his ten years at the firm, Daniel regularly acted for a number of the firm’s major private and public sector clients and appeared as an advocate in various courts and tribunals.
Daniel is reading with Brendan Avallone and his senior mentor is Hamish Austin KC.
William Stone
William Stone specialises in commercial litigation. His experience includes contractual disputes, class actions, product liability, insurance, and judicial review. He has advised clients across a range of industries, including energy and resources, financial services, and automotive. Before joining the Bar, William was a Senior Associate at Allens, where he acted for clients in complex and reputationally significant matters, trials, and appeals.
William is reading with Andrew Barraclough, and his Senior Mentor is Stephen Parmenter KC.
Gavin Rees
Gavin Rees practises in commercial and public law. Gavin has a broad range of litigation experience. He has acted for listed companies, government entities, directors and other individuals in various complex matters, including class actions, criminal investigations, employment law, contract and equity cases and proceedings under the Corporations Act. Before coming to the Bar, Gavin practised as a solicitor in commercial litigation at Baker McKenzie, where he specialised in advising clients in contract and equity cases at first instance and on appeal. He was previously associate to the Honourable Justice Nichols of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
