In July 2019, commercial law barrister Michael Wise QC published an article in the Law Institute Journal, which considers the law in relation to domestic violence and superannuation. The article looks at whether the beneficiary of a binding death benefit nomination forfeits their right to receive the benefit if they kill the superannuation member.
