List G Barristers is proud to introduce four of the Victorian Bar’s newest members who signed the Bar Roll on 30 April 2015. We warmly welcome Kess Dovey, Brad Holmes, Rebecca Howe and Daniel McCredden to the List G Barristers tradition of professional excellence and expertise in commercial and public law advocacy, strategy and advice.

Kess Dovey

A former Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution Group at King & Wood Mallesons, Kess Dovey has a broad commercial practice with particular interest in competition law, large scale contractual disputes and cross-border disputes. Kess holds a Master of Laws from Melbourne University, a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from Deakin University, and a Bachelor of Creative Arts from the University of Melbourne & the Victorian College of the Arts.

Brad Holmes

Brad Holmes was previously an Executive Counsel at Herbert Smith Freehills. He specialised in complex commercial litigation, contested takeovers, breach of director’s duties, multi-party contractual claims and class actions.Brad also has extensive experience with Victorian liquor and gambling laws. Brad holds a combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Melbourne.

Rebecca Howe

Rebecca Howe is a former Senior Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department at Baker & McKenzie. Rebecca is also a former Associate to the Honourable Justice Buchanan in the Court of Appeal. She has a broad commercial practice with particular expertise in large scale and complex commercial and public law proceedings. Rebecca holds a combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Melbourne.

Daniel McCredden

A former Principal Solicitor at the Victorian Government Solicitors’ Office and Solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills, Daniel McCredden has a broad commercial and public law practice. He has particular interest and expertise in public law as well as corporate governance, trade practices and general commercial law. Daniel holds a Master of Laws from University College London and a combined Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Melbourne.
