List G Barristers is delighted to announce that The Hon. Michael Black AC QC has been appointed chair of the newly formed Legal Services Council.
The Victorian and New South Wales Parliaments have passed the Legal Profession Uniform Law to reduce red tape and create consistency between the jurisdictions. The Legal Services Council will oversee the Uniform Legal Services Scheme, will set the policy framework and refine that way it operates.
The Legal Profession Uniform Law is set to commence is early 2015.
