The membership of List G Barristers congratulates Michael Colbran QC on his appointment as President of the Law Council of Australia.
Mr Colbran became a Director of the Law Council of Australia in 2006 and, since then, has participated in the work of many Law Council Committees and Working Groups. He has been Chairman of the Law Council's National Judicial Issues Working Group since 2008 and was closely involved in projects of the Law Council and the Australian Bar Association to develop National Rules of Conduct for solicitors and barristers.
We wish Michael well in his new role as President of the Law Council of Australia.
