List G Barristers is proud to introduce four of the Victorian Bar’s newest members who signed the Bar Roll on 24 October this year. We warmly welcome Angel Aleksov, Clare Cunliffe, Laura Keily and Benjamin Ryde to the List G Barristers tradition of professional excellence and expertise in commercial and public law advocacy, strategy and advice.
Angel Aleksov
Angel practises in public, industrial, employment and commercial law. He has a particular interest in constitutional law. Formerly a solicitor in the Public Law team of the Victorian Government Solicitors Office, Angel has also held a position as Researcher to the then Solicitor-General for Victoria, now Tate JA.
Clare Cunliffe
Clare Cunliffe practises in intellectual property and general commercial litigation. Before joining the Bar, Clare was a Senior Associate at Corrs Chambers Westgarth in Melbourne where she practised in intellectual property litigation, including patent and trade mark litigation, and general commercial litigation. Clare has also worked in the United Kingdom, at boutique intellectual property firm Powell Gilbert.
Laura Keily
Laura Keily has a broad commercial practice with a focus on corporations and securities law. Before joining the Bar, Laura practised for more than 12 years as a corporate and commercial law specialist, at Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst), at London magic circle firm Slaughter and May for 3 years, and most recently at Corrs Chambers Westgarth.
Benjamin Ryde
A former Associate at Linklaters LLP in London, Ben began his career at Allens in Melbourne. Ben has a broad commercial practice with a particular focus on banking and finance, corporations and securities, professional negligence, insolvency and trade practices. Ben has also held a position as Associate to the Honourable Justice Sundberg of the Federal Court of Australia.
