List G Barristers congratulates List members Peter Hanks QC and Frances Gordon who, together with Graeme Hill, have written a third edition of the text, Constitutional Law in Australia (Lexis Nexis, 2012).

The new edition explores major themes and issues relating to the structure and function of government in Australia, in both institutional and federal aspects. The text provides a comprehensive, authoritative and critical account of the rules which structure and reflect the exercise of political power in Australia.

Constitutional Law in Australia was first written by Peter Hanks and published in 1991, the year in which Peter Hanks was called to the Bar. The second edition was published in 1996.
