Drug law reform, military justice, euthanasia, indigenous rights and the ‘right’ to connect on-line… these are just some of the issues to be explored in this year’s Castan Centre Human Rights Law Conference on 22 July 2011.

The conference promises to be thought provoking with guest speakers including the United States Ambassador to Australia Jeffrey Bleich and opinion leaders in all aspects of the human rights dialogue, including Rex Wild QC (author of the Little Children are Sacred report), Brigadier Lyn McDade (Director of Military Prosecutions for ADF) and Professor Tim McCormack (special advisor on International Humanitarian Law).

The annual Castan Centre Conference will be held at the Monash University Conference Centre in Spring Street Melbourne. For more details visit the website
