Sophie Kearney practises primarily in commercial law and public law

Prior to joining the Bar, Sophie was a solicitor in Arnold Bloch Leibler's litigation team. At ABL, Sophie's work involved large, complex litigation in the Federal and Supreme Courts, including insolvency, trusts and contractual disputes as well as class actions. She was also involved in regulatory enforcement actions, including in relation to financial services.

Sophie holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne, and has a Bachelor of Science (Pure Mathematics) and Diploma of Languages (French) from the University of Melbourne.

Sophie is reading with Albert Dinelli and her senior mentor is Dr Oren Bigos QC.
