Leo practises in commercial and regulatory law.
His principal experience includes corporate insolvency and restructuring, contractual disputes, trade practices, class actions, equity and trusts, and regulatory matters.
Before coming to the Bar, Leo was a senior associate in Norton Rose Fulbright's Financial Restructuring and Insolvency team. There, he acted for a broad range of institutional clients in contentious corporate insolvency matters, as well as commercial disputes, regulatory investigations and proceedings, class actions, and Royal Commissions.
Leo is a former associate to the Honourable Justice Sloss at the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Leo is currently lecturing in the post-graduate Commercial Equity course at Monash University. He is an updating author of Federal Court Practice.
Leo holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Juris Doctor and Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne.
Leo read with Daniel Snyder. His senior mentor is Nicholas De Young KC.
