Katie Gardiner specialises in commercial litigation, employment disputes and workplace investigations.

She appears led and unled in a variety of matters.

Her recent experience includes:

  • underpayments class actions in the Federal Court;
  • sexual harassment and race discrimination proceedings in the Federal Court;
  • general protections proceedings in the Federal Circuit and Family Court;
  • disclaimer and restitution proceedings in the Supreme Court;
  • oppression proceedings in the Supreme Court;
  • workplace investigations across a wide variety of industries; and
  • reportable conduct investigations.

Prior to joining the Bar, Katie was at Allens for around 12 years, including as Counsel – Investigations & Whistleblowing and prior to that as a Senior Associate acting on regulatory investigations and conducting complex commercial litigation involving tax, construction, insolvency and employment law.

Katie was previously an associate to the Honourable Justice Sloss in the Commercial Court of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
