Kathryn appears led and unled, for and against ASX-listed companies, liquidators, insurers and government bodies. She appears in Victoria and in other state and Federal jurisdictions.
Kathryn is regularly briefed in class actions, including to advise on potential new class actions under investigation.
Before coming to the Bar, Kathryn was a senior associate at Slater and Gordon, where she worked on shareholder, consumer and common law class actions. From 2021 to 2024, Kathryn worked on the Allen v G8 Education class action, the first Australian proceeding in which contingency fees were ordered and approved, pursuant to a group costs order.
Before practising as a solicitor, Kathryn was an associate at the Supreme Court of Victoria, first to the Honourable Justice Croft AM (2018 to 2019) and then to the Honourable Justice Nichols (2019 to 2020). As an associate, Kathryn assisted on commercial, corporations, contractual and property disputes, class actions, tax appeals and arbitration-related matters.
