Jack Gracie practises in class actions, competition law and consumer law and employment law.

Since joining the Bar, Jack has acted led and unled in complex class actions and large-scale litigation in the Federal Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Victoria.

In particular, Jack has expertise in class action practice and procedure. Jack is briefed to advise and appear in complex competition, consumer protection, discrimination, shareholder and employment class actions. Jack has also acted for a range of interested parties in class action settlement approval applications.

Jack also has an extensive practice in regulatory, competition, consumer protection, employment and industrial law. Jack has acted for regulators and has experience in matters involving civil penalties.

Jack also accepts briefs in defamation, discrimination law, general commercial, financial advice disputes and commissions and inquiries.

While employed as a solicitor, Jack was involved in class actions concerning a wide range of subject matters and legal issues including competition, mass tort, shareholder and employment. Jack has a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from the Australian National University.

Jack read with Alexandra Folie SC and Siobhan Kelly SC, and his senior mentor was Kate Burke SC.
