    Hugo practises in commercial law. He specialises in construction disputes and arbitration.

    Before joining the Bar, Hugo was a Senior Associate in the Construction Advisory and Disputes team at Pinsent Masons. Prior to that, he was an Associate in the International Arbitration team at King & Spalding, based in London. In these roles, Hugo acted for principals and contractors in disputes relating to a wide range of projects, including gas processing and mining facilities, pipelines, chemical plants, windfarms, roads and tunnels in Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, Africa and Europe.

    Hugo holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (French) from the University of Adelaide.

    Hugo is reading with Fiona Cameron and his senior mentor is Richard J Harris SC.
