Erin Richardson practises in all areas of employment, industrial relations, and equal opportunity law.

Erin also practises in Royal Commissions and public inquiries, employment-focused class actions, and administrative law.

Prior to joining the Victorian Bar, Erin spent over a decade in practice as a solicitor. Most recently, she was a Senior Associate at Mallesons in the Employee Relations and Safety team, and prior to that she was a Senior Associate in the equivalent team at Corrs Chambers Westgarth. Erin commenced her legal career at the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office.

Erin has represented clients in a wide range of sectors including banking and finance, construction, energy and resources, higher education, retail, manufacturing, and the State and Commonwealth public sectors, including regulators. Her experience includes complex advisory work and the conduct of significant litigation, including sensitive cases under equal opportunity law, and as a team member representing clients in Royal Commissions and other public inquiries.

Erin is reading with Emily Latif, and her senior mentor is Jonathan Kirkwood SC.
