Edward Moore
- Commercial Law
Edward has a broad commercial practice, with particular focus on taxation, insolvency, contract and property disputes. He has also been briefed in planning and owners’ corporation matters, and to advise on issues concerning digital assets and cryptocurrencies.
Edward
brings a forensic and analytical approach to complex factual and legal
problems, while maintaining a common-sense and commercial approach to dispute
resolution.
Prior
to joining the Bar, Edward worked on cross-border mergers and acquisitions as a
senior manager in PwC’s tax division. He has also advised on complex legal and
policy issues at Greenwoods & Herbert Smith Freehills, the ATO and the
Commonwealth Treasury.
Edward
holds a law degree with first class honours from Monash University, where he
also completed an honours thesis on the income tax general anti-avoidance rule.
He also holds a Master of Taxation degree from Melbourne University (H2A), a
Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma of Languages (German).

read with Andrew De Wijn, and his senior mentor is Eugene Wheelahan KC.
