Eddy Gisonda practises in commercial, public and employment law

Before joining the Bar, Eddy was an associate to Justice Hayne in the High Court of Australia, and a solicitor at both Freehills and Mallesons.  He was also a lecturer in the fields of equity, contract, and restitution at the University of Melbourne.  Whilst at the Bar, Eddy took a 12 month appointment as chief legal counsel to the Premier of Victoria.

Eddy appears in all courts and tribunals in commercial and public law matters.  He has also been briefed in numerous  class actions and inquires, including the Centro Class Action, the Black Saturday Class Action, the Bank Fees Class Action, the Royal Commission into Trade Unions, the Banking Royal Commission, and the Royal Commission into the Management of Police Informants.
