During a distinguished career at the Victorian Bar, Bruce Caine KC specialised in intellectual property law, with extensive experience in copyright, patents, trademarks and confidential information. Bruce acted in major commercial and equity matters for international clients including pharmaceutical, telecommunications and mining industries. He has significant trial and appellate experience and regularly appeared before all superior Courts, including the High Court of Australia.
Bruce is widely recognised as one of Australia’s leading intellectual property senior counsel. He is ranked Band 1 for Intellectual Property: The Bar in Chambers Global, where he is described as a pre-eminent IP Silk. He has been repeatedly recognised by Doyle’s Guide as a leading Victorian Intellectual Property Silk. He has also been recognised in The Best Lawyers in Australia for both Intellectual Property Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution and in Legal 500 Asia-Pacific as a Leading Silk.
