Alister Merry

    Alister practises primarily in employment, industrial relations and regulatory matters, including health and safety and white collar crime.

    Prior to joining the Bar, Alister was an Associate to the Honourable Justice Elliott at the Supreme Court of Victoria.

    Before that, he was an Associate in the Workplace team at MinterEllison. During his time at MinterEllison, he undertook secondments to the Victorian Department of Education and Department of Health.

    Alister holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts from Monash University.

    Alister is reading with Leigh Howard and his senior mentor is Karen Argiropoulos SC.
