Alexander practises principally in industrial relations and employment law.

Alexander has a national practice. He acts for clients in a range of industries, including transport and logistics, mining and energy, manufacturing, financial services, education, retail, emergency services, and healthcare. He also acts for state and federal government departments and agencies.

Before coming to the Bar, Alexander was a senior associate at Seyfarth Shaw, where he also practised principally in industrial relations and employment law. Before that, he served as associate to the Honourable Justice Snaden of the Federal Court of Australia.

Alexander read with Dimitri Ternovski and his senior mentor is Marc Felman KC.
