Increasingly, members of List G Barristers are being contacted and then briefed directly by in-house corporate counsel.  We encourage this trend.

There are distinct advantages for corporate counsel choosing to brief a barrister directly.  Whether your company requires the services of counsel for pre-litigation advice, arbitration or other ADR representation, or for appearance in court, the early and direct involvement of a barrister can save time and money in the long run. Your company may not have the staff, expertise or facilities to run a large proceeding through to its end, however, timely advice on legal and procedural issues can help to steer you in the right direction. A barrister can help you to navigate the litigation landscape effectively and make informed decisions at the earliest opportunity.
